Legal Considerations for Small Business Owners

SEED Corporation, in cooperation with the U.S. Small Business Administration, Small Business Development Center (SBDC), and SCORE, is partnering with Percy Law Group, PC to provide this free virtual workshop Legal Considerations for Small Businesses. In this seminar, participants will learn more about legally establishing a business, as well as the differences between Sole Proprietorship, S Corporations, C Corporations, Partnerships, and LLC's. The instructors from Percy Law Group will also cover general legal considerations for start-up and existing business owners. This is an excellent opportunity to meet with and have your business-related legal questions answered by practiced business attorneys.

All attendees will be given a copy of the presentation, a SEED business plan, and the contact information for the instructors, SBDC, and SCORE.

  • "SEED was an intricate part to making my dreams a reality. It was always a dream since I started my law practice in my hometown to own the building I was renting from. At first it seemed a daunting task. With SEED's help I was able to move forward to purchase my building on Main Street and achieve the next level of my dreams for myself and my family. Angie was knowledgeable, professional, and super helpful through the process. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!"

  • "We are very thankful for SEED helping us purchase the building and equipment for our new restaurant. We started the process of looking for a new location in early 2020, but then the pandemic hit the country, and while we had strong business plans, many lenders turned us down because of the effects of COVID on our industry. Right before giving up on pursuing our dream, we were referred to SEED. We worked with their great team, and were able to get our business up and running in few months! Thank you SEED!"
