The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Massachusetts District Office has announced this year’s honorees in advance of 2026 National Small Business Week Celebration, taking place May 3–9, 2026.

Among those recognized were SEED’s small business client, Lorenzo’s Italian Restaurant & Bar. Angela Maffeo and Peter Maffeo, owners of Lorenzo’s Italian Restaurant & Bar (Middleboro, MA), were named the Massachusetts District Office’s Jeffrey Butland Family-Owned Business of the Year. Lorenzo’s Italian Restaurant was established in 1950, by the late Lorenzo Grosso and after 75+ years is now being run by Grosso’s daughter Angela Maffeo and grandson, Peter Maffeo.
